King Abdullah International Gardens

Barton Willmore has been successfully appointed as designer for the Botanical Gardens.
The project has been commissioned by the city of Riyadh as a gift to the new King. The Gardens will be located at a site to the South West of Riyadh. The commission is set within the arid desert of Saudi Central Region. The gardens will encompass a botanical garden, a scientific garden, a water garden, a psychic garden, an aviary and many more contained natural environments.
The King Abdullah International Gardens has been designed to become a world leading focus of mankind’s understanding of the process, consequence and study of climate change.
