Venue: The Third Line
Pcha Kucha (Japanese for the sound of conversation) is an event that takes place over 80 cities across the world for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Each presenter is allowed 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds each - giving 6 minutes 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up. This keeps presentations concise, the interest level up, and gives more people the chance to show.
Pecha Kucha in Dubai is held at The Third Line and is organized by the Architectural Association of the UAE (aaUAE), S*uce (a fashion and lifestyle boutique), Traffic (a design gallery), 9714 (an events and design company), and The Third Line (a gallery of contemporary Middle Eastern artist).
